I have always had a real interest in hair and beauty. I can still remember getting my first ‘Girls World’. This creepy plastic head that I would spend hours primping and preening the hair and make-up ending up with something that was a mixture of Chucky and Dolly Parton. Hopefully, my skills have come on somewhat since then.
Thirty years in the industry, firstly as a Therapist, and then managing salon’s and spa’s whether sipping Pina Coladas in Bermuda or laying on a beach in Bondi in Australia to Opening Celebrity based Kensington Spa alongside Andrew Barton the hairdresser of ‘Ten Years Younger’ has meant that I have learnt a lot along the way – about myself, the industry, and most importantly, the constantly changing world of beauty.
Fast forward 30 years and I finally returned to my home town and after all my years of experience I wanted to open a different type of salon experience, professional whilst still being relaxing .
