Northamptonshire is a lovely county with something for everyone, beautiful countryside, classic houses and villages.  You can access nature almost anywhere in the county. Even in Abington Park, you may see Parrakets and even Otters!  Some of the walks throughout the county are just wonderful as they follow the river or you encounter rolling hills like the image above. There is an argument for the fact that the Cotswolds starts in the Daventry area. Certainly, some of the prettiest villages can be found to the west of the county.

Some History

It all started in 1987, when we started a business selling fragrant oils, oil burners, incense and potpourri. We evolved into an aromatherapy company and built a reputation for our quality of product. Aromatherapy was just gaining interest in the 1980’s and we designed many of our products with the help and input of our customers. Our best-selling product was one that eased inflammation around joints. It worked.

We sold our products worldwide, even to a few very large companies.

Our knowledge of the industry encompasses many aspects, and if we do not know the answer, we know people who do. We still use the same supplier that we did over 30 years ago.

The Current situation

Social media has changed this industry just like others. Determining what is true or not is increasingly difficult; some companies abuse this phenomenon and basically just plain lie to you, make false claims and mislead you. For some of them, it is just another way to make money out of you, the consumer.

Here at Pound Lane, we will give you the facts and try very hard not to mislead you. We will cover topics that relate to well-being, natural health, aromatherapy, essential Oils and selected products mostly from our sister company Us Them and U.
